The armored Mercedes G-Wagon is the prestige choice in our SUV lineup. Body-on-frame ruggedness, short-wheelbase agility, solid-axle suspension engineered for armor mass and a profile that doesn’t pretend to be something it isn’t. Exec Armor builds both the standard G 550 and the AMG G 63 in BR4 through BR7 from our Vaughan, Ontario facility.
The G-Class is the only mainstream platform we build where the armored result is meant to look armored. For diplomatic principals, head-of-state details and high-profile family security teams, this is a feature: the G-Wagon visibly signals that the principal is not an easy target, which can de-escalate threats before they begin. Mechanically, the solid front and rear axles, the body-on-frame chassis and the short 2,890 mm wheelbase make it the most agile full-size armored SUV in our lineup — important for evasive driving in tight urban environments. The G-Class also retains nearly 100 percent of its factory off-road geometry after our armoring process.
