For clients in environments where evasive driving capability matters more than raw badge prestige, the G 63 is the right call — its factory-tuned brakes and stiffer chassis handle armor weight better than the G 550.

The G-Class’s factory off-road geometry (approach angle 31°, departure 30°, breakover 26°, ground clearance 241 mm) is preserved within roughly 5 percent in our BR6 armoring spec. The three locking differentials remain fully functional after armoring (they are mechanical lockers untouched by our build process), and the solid axles handle armor mass with no compromise to articulation.
