The armored Lexus LX 600 is the value-and-reliability choice in our SUV lineup. Built on the global Toyota Land Cruiser 300 platform with Lexus interior refinement, it delivers the most-bulletproof platform reliability of any luxury SUV combined with armored-vehicle-friendly drivetrain durability and globally-available parts. Since the 2022 redesign, the LX 600 has become the fastest-growing platform in our portfolio.
Two reasons clients pick the armored LX 600. First, total cost of ownership over a 10-year armored service life is roughly 30 to 50 percent lower than an Escalade or G-Wagon — parts are cheaper, service intervals are longer, and the platform tolerates abuse better. Second, the Land Cruiser 300 chassis is engineered for severe operating environments (heat, cold, dust, fuel quality variability) that European luxury SUVs simply don’t handle as well.
