Calgary is the second-largest market in our Canadian portfolio. Energy-sector executives, principals at oil-and-gas firms, ranch owners across southern Alberta and high-net-worth families in Mount Royal, Britannia, Bel-Aire and Elbow Park have specific armored-vehicle needs that don’t look like Toronto or Vancouver. Exec Armor builds armored F-350 Super Duties and Dodge Ram TRXs, armored Range Rovers, Yukons and Land Cruisers, and the occasional armored Mercedes S-Class for clients across Calgary, Edmonton, Banff and Canmore.
Calgary clients tend to favour platforms that can handle Alberta winters, gravel and forestry roads, and the occasional Rocky Mountain trail. We engineer our vehicle armoring with Alberta in mind: cold-weather battery packages, reinforced HVAC, salt-and-grit-resistant suspension finishes, and tire packages rated for both highway and unmaintained gravel. For our oil-and-gas-sector clients running operations in northern Alberta, the Peace River area or the BC interior, we deliver armored support vehicles capable of operating on lease roads at minus-30°C. Service is available through our Western Canadian partner network or by shipping the vehicle back to Vaughan on a 7-day round trip.

We deliver to Calgary via enclosed flatbed transport — door-to-door from our Vaughan facility to your Calgary address or your designated location. Total transit time is typically 5 to 7 days depending on weather and seasonal road conditions. The vehicle is fully insured to the destination, secured under a tarpaulin cover for discretion, and accompanied by a tracking link your team can monitor in real time. Delivery cost is included in the build price for any contract over CAD $200,000; for smaller spare-parts orders or service-bound vehicles, we quote shipping at cost.
For clients on a tight timeline, we also offer air-freight delivery through Canadian Forces Base Trenton or Toronto Pearson Cargo to Calgary International. Air freight cuts transit to 24-48 hours but adds approximately CAD $18,000 to $35,000 depending on vehicle size. This option is most-often used for our pre-built stock vehicles when a Calgary client needs delivery within a week of contract.
Our Calgary delivery profile skews heavily toward armored trucks and SUVs over sedans — a complete inversion of our Toronto profile. The platform mix for Calgary clients over the past three years has been roughly: 35 percent Ford F-350 Super Duty (work-truck profile for ranch and energy clients), 25 percent Dodge Ram TRX (high-performance, all-weather presence), 20 percent armored SUV (Range Rover, Yukon, Land Cruiser, LX 600), 10 percent armored Cadillac Escalade, and 10 percent sedans (mostly Mercedes S-Class).
The reason: Alberta clients use their vehicles harder and over more varied terrain than urban Toronto principals. A factory pickup with our BR6 armoring, cold-weather battery upgrades and reinforced suspension is a single vehicle that handles ranch access, Canmore trail driving and Calgary city commuting. The trade-off (compared to an armored sedan) is fuel economy and discreet presence — but for Calgary clients, capability tends to outweigh discretion.
Two options. Most Calgary clients fly their vehicles back to our Vaughan facility for major service — typically annually for routine maintenance and ballistic-integrity inspection. Door-to-door, including transport both ways and a 5-business-day service window in Vaughan, the round trip runs 14 to 18 days and CAD $6,000 to $12,000 depending on transport mode. We coordinate logistics and provide a loaner vehicle on request.
For routine maintenance — oil changes, brake pads, tire rotations, glass replacements — we partner with two certified Calgary-area independent shops who have been trained and approved by our service team. These partner shops handle mechanical work using our shipped OEM-equivalent parts and are supervised by our Vaughan service desk via video call when armored-component work is required. Major armor repairs and ballistic re-certification always happen at our Vaughan facility.
